Inspiration from your Dog

Here is something to make you smile through out your day. The original was written by Deanna Mascle but I have added and adapted.

5 Life Lessons I Learned from my dog:

1. We humans don’t touch each other enough but our dogs do. Dogs know that a simple touch, lick, a kiss can make all the difference in the world. A hug goes a long way. Hug someone today including your dog.

2. Never overlook the chance to take a nap.
Allow yourself permission for some down time!

3. Jealousy is a waste of time.
In general, dogs are pack animals and for the most part get along with all pack members.

4.The best toys are found not bought.
Dogs and small children teach us about gifts.Your time and attention are the greatest gift of all and with a little imagination and energy you don’t need any toys at all, let alone expensive, electronic gadgets.

5.You are never too old to play.
We humans forget that the need for play and fellowship does not disappear when we leave childhood. There is no such thing as being too old to play. Perhaps we need to revise our choice of game and venue, but no matter what our age, there should be no limit to our ability to join in the fun! Even if we are as old as dirt.

Have a joyful, tail wagging day!  Dr Jan
